Bringing a little bit of country to the city
In partnership with Alphington CWA, ACC presents the Alphington Show - great opportunity for locals to get a little bit competitive, and show off their ‘domestic arts’ skills - crafting, baking, gardening, jam making etc. within the neighbourhood. You can enter your home baked bread, dazzle your friends with your floristry skills … and there are kids and adult categories. This is a chance to meet your neighbours, admire their skills and share your passions, talents and interests, with prizes in each category. Entries are judged independently by lovely volunteers from the CWA and the Preston Garden Club.

The accompanying Alphington Dog Show is a neighbourhood favourite. Best trick, barkiest dog, best dressed … there’s a category that is suitable for the naughtiest and oldest of dogs! And there are prizes again (thanks E&A Salce).
