Women power(tools)
Our Women in the Shed program starts the second week of February and runs for 6 weeks.
For women keen to learn how to use the tools in their garage themselves or wanting to have some confidence when meandering through the Bunnings Tool Shop … this is for you! Our Monday and Tuesday classes are booked out, but we have 4 spots left on a Thursday.
This class will be run by lovely local artist and can-do chick Maylei (who joined in the program with Jen last term to see what it was all about) and is suitable for beginners to more advanced students.
The program focuses on projects, and Maylei will help you choose the right project for your skill level using timber, tiles or metal … and then guide you through learning how to use all the tools and equipment you will need to make your gorgeous chopping board, letterbox, shelf, birdbath, coat rack … or whatever else takes your fancy!
Learn how to use saws, drills, heat guns, dremels and more … And spend time getting to know other lovely women from the neighbourhood.
This program runs for 5 hours a week for 6 weeks, and costs just $25 a day (that’s only $5 per hour) - a total of $150 for 6 weeks.
Keen? You can book in here.
